Cookie notice
This page explains what cookies and similar storage are, which ones apieventgrid.digital uses, and how you can accept, reject, or disable them. It should be read with our privacy notice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site can store on your device. Related tools such as localStorage can keep a short preference without sending it on every request. We use both: a localStorage key for your banner choice, and (if you accept analytics) a small analytics cookie from our measurement provider.
Types we use
Essential. Required to remember that you have seen and answered the consent banner, and to keep the site usable (for example, not re-showing the banner on every page load). These do not profile you for advertising.
Analytics (optional). Help us see which public lessons and journal pieces are opened, in aggregate. They are not used to build a marketing audience. Rejecting analytics does not hide courses, pricing, forms, or articles.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| apieventgrid_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject for the banner so we do not ask again on every visit. | Until you clear site data (localStorage) | Apieventgrid (first party) |
| _ag_analytics | Optional aggregate page-view counts for public courses and journal URLs. Set only after Accept. | 6 months | Apieventgrid measurement host |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. Rejecting writes rejected to apieventgrid_cookie_consent and we will not set the analytics cookie. You can clear site data in your browser to remove the stored choice; the banner will appear again. Browser settings also let you block cookies globally or per site. Blocking all cookies may cause the banner to reappear often; the rest of the site still works.
Third-party cookies
We do not run advertising networks. Pages may request typefaces from Google Fonts. That request can allow Google to see your IP and the font files asked for; it is not an Apieventgrid advertising cookie. Embedded images are loaded from public image hosts (for example Unsplash). Those hosts may set their own cookies according to their policies. We do not control them. Avoiding third-party calls entirely would mean serving every asset from our own domain; we have not done that for photographs.
Impact of disabling
Disabling essential storage may show the consent banner repeatedly. Disabling analytics simply means your visits are not counted in our aggregate lesson stats. Forms, syllabi, and legal pages remain available either way. Enrolment still happens off-site via invoice after we reply.
Changes
If we add a new optional cookie, we will update this table and ask again where the purpose is not essential. Last revised 13 August 2026.
